DESCRIPTION

Foxfire 89 & 167 are non-hazardous colorless liquids with low toxicity having a mild, pleasant odor. Both provide good solvency for a wide variety of resins including acrylics, epoxies, alkyds, polyesters, nitrocellulose, polyurethanes and polyurea.

Low toxicity, surface tension reduction, and moderate evaporation are some of the benefits of using Foxfire 89. Product has a very low content of primary alcohol, generally below 0.49%. The primary alcohol isomer is more reactive than the secondary alcohol isomer.

Foxfire 89 eliminates uncured residues of reactive thermosetting plastics such as polyurethane injection resins, polyurethane foam systems, isocyanate pre-polymers, epoxy resins and polyurea. For cleaning compression pumps, it is useful to circulate a sufficient amount of the cleaner for a few minutes. The pumps should then be rinsed with fresh Foxfire 89. Parts soiled with reacted material should be soaked in the cleaner.
